Optimizely Demo Script

Shaping the Future of Specialty Food

A Challenger methodology demo flow introducing the shift from static visual building to intent-driven Agentic Assembly.

Phase 1: Establishing the Baseline (The "Table Stakes")

Goal

Build trust. Prove that Optimizely can effortlessly handle basic, drag-and-drop page creation using the modular SFA Blueprint components.

Action

Open Optimizely CMS Visual Builder on an empty EventLandingPage. Drag a HeroBannerBlock into the Main Content Area, add a background video, then drag in a TwoColumnSplitBlock with a Rich Text block and an External Embed block.

"I know you are evaluating several CMS platforms, and I'll be blunt: a lot of what you see is going to look exactly the same. At this point, the CMS market is highly commoditized. If a vendor can't show you an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, they shouldn't be in the room."

"For example, if your team wants to spin up a new FancyFaire event page, they shouldn't need an agency. They simply grab blocks, drop them in, and add media."

"But here is the reality: every modern CMS should do this. This isn't where you win your market. You win by how fast you can respond to complex customer intent."

Phase 2: The Challenger Pivot (The Insight)

Goal

Introduce the flaw in the current market (The "AI Veneer") and reframe how they should be thinking about their next CMS investment.

Action

Pause the visual building. Bring up a slide or campaign brief on screen: "Create a personalized portal for Retail Buyers to find Minority-Owned, Award-Winning Hot Sauce Makers at the Winter Fancy Food Show."

"Here is the bottleneck that basic drag-and-drop doesn't solve. What happens when your team gets a mandate to build a highly personalized, dynamic digital experience like this?"

"Every vendor today will tell you they have 'AI'. But if you look closely, it's just an AI veneer."

"They use AI to help you write a headline or auto-tag an image. But the fundamental workflow hasn't changed. To build this custom microsite, your marketers still have to submit a ticket to an external agency. You wait three weeks, the moment passes, and you lose revenue."

Phase 3: The Differentiator (Agentic Assembly)

Goal

Show how Optimizely CMS SaaS eliminates the agency bottleneck by dynamically assembling experiences based on intent.

Action

Switch to the AI prompt interface. Paste the campaign brief. Execute the prompt and show the AI instantly querying Optimizely Graph and assembling the UI components dynamically on the fly.

"True marketing liberation means entirely decoupling content from code. With Optimizely, we don't just give you an AI copywriter. We give you Agentic Assembly powered by Optimizely Graph."

"The agent understands the intent. It automatically queries the Graph for the exact SFA makers that fit the criteria, selects the right UI components, and builds the application on the fly. No developers. No three-week agency turnaround."

"Drag and drop is for building static pages. Intent-driven Agentic Assembly is for scaling hyper-personalized experiences instantly. This is how you stop managing pages, and start driving revenue."
